Refund Policy

This policy explains how subscription cancellations, billing corrections, credits, and refund requests are handled for PatchPilot plans.

Last updated: September 5, 2026

Scope

This policy applies to subscriptions purchased directly from PatchPilot. If a subscription is purchased through a reseller or another billing provider, that provider's refund terms and process may apply.

Cancellation and future charges

You may cancel a paid subscription through the billing settings available to your workspace. Cancellation stops future renewal charges. Unless your order or service agreement states otherwise, access to paid features continues until the end of the current billing period.

Refund eligibility

Subscription fees are generally non-refundable once a billing period has started, except where required by applicable law or expressly stated in your order or service agreement.

We will review requests involving duplicate charges, incorrect amounts, unauthorized billing, or a verified service issue that materially prevented use of the paid service. Approval and the amount of any refund or account credit depend on the circumstances of the request and any applicable contractual or legal requirements.

How to request a billing review

Send a request to billing@patchpilot.dev from an email address associated with the workspace. Include the workspace name, invoice or transaction reference, charge date, and a concise explanation of the issue. Do not send passwords, API keys, payment card numbers, or repository credentials.

Approved refunds and credits

Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method when practicable. Processing time depends on the payment provider and financial institution. Where a cash refund is unavailable or inappropriate, we may offer an account credit when permitted by law and the applicable agreement.

Plan changes and unused service

Downgrades normally take effect at the next renewal unless the billing dashboard or your service agreement states otherwise. Unused time, repositories, integrations, or usage allowances do not automatically qualify for a refund or rollover.

Statutory rights

Nothing in this policy limits refund, cancellation, or consumer rights that cannot be waived under applicable law. Where this policy conflicts with those rights, applicable law controls.
